Kevin Leckerman, Esq.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation for your work. Five continuances and thought there would be a sixth. And sure enough the plea for a lesser offense occurs."
- Tony R.
“I was facing a third DUI in ten years, and being out of state, I refused the breath test thinking that I was only giving the prosecution extra evidence against me. However, PA law prosecutes a third DUI with a breath refusal at the highest level which equates to a minimum of one year in jail. I spent hours searching various PA lawyers and once I met Kevin, I knew that this lawyer was my best chance. Kevin researched the police report thoroughly and was completely prepared at court. Kevin listened attentively to every detail I provided, and used this information to prepare a strong case against the state. The result was a total dismissal of the charges. If facing a PA DUI, Kevin is the lawyer you need and can trust.”
- Michael.
“Having practiced law for 10 years I know the difference between a good and a great lawyer especially when I need one. I was facing my 4th DWI with several other violations, driving on the revoked list, no insurance, unregistered vehicle, etc. I was looking at substantial jail time and another 10 years loss of license. So I needed the best and did my research. Hiring Kevin was a life changer for me. He was upfront with me and kept me informed throughout the process. All my vehicle charges were dismissed as I pleaded to a municipal ordinance violation with a minimal fine. I could not have asked for a better outcome. I can, without reservation, highly recommend Kevin Leckerman’s legal services!”
- Karl

I highly recommend him for anyone arrested for a DWI.”

In addition to being hard working and aggressive, Kevin goes out of his way to make sure that he is on top of the latest developments in DWI/DUI defenses. I recently attended an extremely vigorous 5 day forensic science seminar on defeating blood samples in DWI/DUI cases with Kevin and I think I learned just as much from the points Kevin made in class as I did from the course itself. Kevin is an outstanding attorney.”

Kevin Leckerman, New Jersey DWI and Pennsylvania DUI Attorney
Kevin Leckerman has handled well over 1,000 DWI / DUI cases throughout his career and tried approximately 200 of those cases at the municipal court level in New Jersey and in the Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. Mr. Leckerman has been formally trained to administer standardized field sobriety tests and to operate numerous breath testing machines, including the Alcotest 7110, Intoxilyzer 8000, Datamaster, and Breathalyzer 900/900A.
In the beginning of his career, as a Senior Deputy for the Bucks County Public Defender in Pennsylvania, Kevin Leckerman was the Appellate Division co-chief handling all appellate matters. This position required writing and arguing briefs to the Commonwealth, Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania. At the same time, he worked as a senior trial attorney representing clients on charges ranging from arson, aggravated assault, DUI, rape, drug crimes, DUI vehicular homicides, felony-murder to capital murder.
After leaving the Office of the Public Defender, Kevin chose to work for Levow & Associates, P.A., located in Cherry Hill, NJ. As an associate, he focused his practice on DWI / DUI defense. During his tenure with Levow & Associates, Kevin Leckerman received training and certification from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for DWI detection and the administration of standardized field sobriety testing. Moreover, as a member of the National College for DUI Defense, he received and continues to receive extensive training regarding breath testing, blood testing and all other aspects of DWI / DUI defense.
Additionally, Kevin Leckerman wrote the briefs for and argued before the New Jersey Appeals Court in a successful effort to establish new DWI law in New Jersey. The changes in the law concerned the Constitutional right to confront and cross-examine hospital workers who extracted blood samples and lab technicians who tested those blood samples in DWI prosecutions. These changes helped to enhance and protect the rights of all people in New Jersey charged with DWI.
